Today I had quite the scare in my house. My wall outlet started popping very loud, smoking, sparking and had a very bad burning smell. I had to get my five kids out of the house and called the firefighters. The fire inspector told me we couldn’t turn the power back on until the problem was fixed because a fire could start. I’m currently going through a divorce, custody battle and the only working parent living paycheck to paycheck. I just paid my bills yesterday and only had $40 until payday. Knowing we couldn’t live in this house without power, I was unsure of what to do. I called around to different electric companies hoping to find someone that would either bill me or let me make a payment plan during these hard times I’m facing. I called Northeast Electrical and explained my situation. The receptionist took my information over the phone and within two minutes, the owner Ryan was calling me and told me over the phone he was not going to charge me. Of course I immediately started crying because of everything I am going through, he just eased my stress. Ryan was at my house within twenty minutes taking a look around and testing different outlets. My issue ended up being bad splicing in the basement. Ryan fixed my issue very quickly! He didn’t mind my noisy kids that wouldn’t stop talking to him or my messy house. Very professional, very friendly, very thoughtful. I couldn’t have asked for a better person to come help me. I am forever grateful and will pay it forward like he asked me to!! Thank you Ryan from the bottom of my heart! You saved me today and I appreciate that more than you’ll ever know!!! Thank you!!!!!

I've worked side by side with Ryan and his crew on several large projects. As a carpenter, I work alongside different trades in large projects often. The entire is very professional and great to work with. They will be working working on my own house because they are very knowledgeable with challenges of old houses. After years of experience with them, I highly recommend them.

Northeast Electrical upgraded our service with a new breaker box and added a sub panel with transfer switch for use with a generator. Their price was the best we found. We doubled our capacity for house and for running a line to an out building. 3 guys were there all day. Their work was fantastic and the box is wired beautifully, sounds weird but you can see all wires easily for any future work. We recommend them as highly as we can.

I don't write a lot of reviews, but I had Northeast Electrical Constructions do a 200 amp service upgrade for me and they really went above and beyond. The fact that you can tell that Ryan really enjoys his work is evident in his enthusiasm and his attention to detail. He was prompt, professional and well priced. Thank you!

I had a great experience with this company. I had a lot of work that was needed to fix a DIY'd electrical system. I got quotes from several different electricians, and Northeast Electrical Construction's quote was among the cheapest. What really set them apart for me was their openness and honesty. When Ryan showed up to do the estimate, he was great about answering all of my questions. He was able to answer all my questions in a simple way and explained everything I needed to know about what needed done to get the system up to code and what could be done to help with a few extra goals I had. He didn't try to sell me on repairs that were above and beyond what I needed, and he focused on doing the repairs correctly but as minimally invasive as possible. In terms of the work, I was very happy. Sean did an excellent job with the panel and wiring. He took the time to make it look nice, which is very much appreciated by me. Again, while they were here, they were great to talk to, and were always open to answering my questions and were always willing to look at anything I was concerned about. When some significant issues were discovered (because of the DIY system) they fixed it. Overall, I highly recommend them. They do great work and were very pleasant to work with.

These guys are awesome. They installed a few outlets for me, a new breaker box and changed the cables coming in from the street. Appointment was set up fast. Ryan stayed in constant communication while working with National Grid and the inspector. He and Sean also explained everything they were doing in detail and walked me through it. The work was done on time and turned out great. Highly recommend them, especially if you are sick of playing phone tag with other electricians!

Was put in contact with them through our realtor. Extremely happy with the service throughout the process. When Ryan came to start the estimate, he walked through the entire house and explained exactly how he would accomplish the project. We had the estimate the next day. When we had to reschedule the work, he was understanding and open to a new date. He was great at explaining what would be needed and why and also when we had a few small things to add, he was fantastic with working with us to accomplish our needs. Prior to completing the job, we had another light go out in the basement and he gladly took a look at it. At first he planned to replace the fixture due to the thought that the part needed would cost about the same as a new fixture, but when he returned with the parts, he informed me the part needed was much cheaper than anticipated and bought that instead, saving us money in the process. The crew he brought with him were all very professional and respectful of the property. The cost was very reasonable, especially for the amount of work required. Would highly recommend their services!

I had a lighting problem going on, so I called around to several electricians, but none got back to me. I finally called Northeast Electric, and they answered right away and put me in touch with one of their electricians,Ryan Smith. Ryan was very helpful over the phone, but he still needed to come out to my residence too. He scheduled to come out in just a few days, and when he did he was very quick in assessing my problem and figuring out how to fix it. The work was performed quickly, and the cost was very reasonable. Ryan told me their company performs both residential and commercial work, and I would definitely recommend calling Northeast Electric for any of your electrical needs.

Great experience. Our power went out today and national grid said we needed a new service line and Ryan came out and got us hooked back up same day about half the price of T-mark. They were able to get the permitting done right away because they have a trusted relationship with the city. Would use them again.

I had an excellent experience with Northwest Electric and can’t recommend them highly enough. In the same day, they took care of two outlet installations at separate properties - one more involved than the other that required problem solving. From start to finish, the team was prompt, professional, and genuinely great to work with. Ryan was incredibly responsive—quick to answer questions, provide updates, and coordinate everything seamlessly. Dillon’s expertise was clear from the moment he arrived. He not only knew exactly what needed to be done, but he handled it efficiently and with care. Both of their ability to explain things clearly while staying personable and professional made the whole process smooth and stress-free. It’s rare to find a team that’s both highly skilled and easy to work with, but Northwest Electric delivers on both. Honestly it was like having family visit to help with projects.
